Hunter’s Steak with Button Mushrooms

INGREDIENTS

1 onion

3 garlics

400 g button mushrooms

1 tablespoon of mustard

2 tablespoons of flour

3 full glasses of water (1 glass = 2 dl)

Salt

Pepper

Bay leaf

Hunter’s Steak with Button Mushrooms

COOKING TIME 1,5 h
SERVES 4
  1. Pound the meat with meat mallet to thin them
  2. Fry them on a little bit of oil in the frying pan, couple of minutes both sides
  3. Remove the steaks from the pan and in the same pan fry onion cut into small pieces. Add cut garlic and mustard.
  4. Add button mushrooms cut into small pieces and stew them until the liquid in the pan evaporates.
  5. Add two tablespoons of flour and stir well
  6. Add 2 glasses of water and stir well
  7. Put the stakes into it and lower the temperature of the stove
  8. Put a little bit of salt and pepper (to taste). Add bay leaf (to taste)
  9. Slowly add water (third glass) and stir. The sauce shouldn’t be too thick but also not too watery.
  10. Cook the steaks for about an hour on a medium temperature.
