Christmas Trees Made of Biscuits with Cocoa and Raisins

INGREDIENTS

200 g biscuits

45 g black cocoa powder

100 g icing sugar

50 g raisins

1 tablespoon of rum

100 g butter

150 ml milk

For the icing:

1 egg-white

1 pinch of salt

200 g icing sugar

1 teaspoon of lemon juice

  1. Put the raisins in a bowl and soak them in 50 ml of milk laced with a tablespoon of rum. Let them soak for one hour, then start shaping the Christmas trees. Crush the biscuits, but not too finely. Add the cocoa, icing sugar, molten butter and milk.
  2. Mix the composition until homogenous. Working with your hands, divide it into 10 equal parts and shape them into small balls, then turn them into cones. Get the icing ready: add a pinch of salt to the egg-white and whisk into a fluffy foam. Gradually add the icing sugar and, in the end, the lemon juice. Let the icing rest for 10 minutes in the refrigerator, and then spread it on the biscuit Christmas trees. Decorate with sugary ornaments.
